Kuwait | Held on 19 August at the Porsche Centre Kuwait showroom in Shuwaikh, the workshop brought together a select group of female Porsche customers and photography enthusiasts for an inspiring evening dedicated to photography, craftsmanship and visual storytelling.
Led by Kuwaiti professional photography and videography specialist Khairiya Rahal, the session invited participants to explore different approaches to photography, from composition and lighting to capturing intricate details and expressing stories through imagery.
At the heart of the workshop was a creative dialogue between Kuwaiti heritage and Porsche design. Participants explored the rich visual language of Sadu weaving, a traditional Kuwaiti craft distinguished by its geometric patterns and intricate craftsmanship, alongside the expressive palette of Porsche Paint to Sample colours. The experience culminated in a dedicated photography session featuring the Porsche 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition, bringing together two worlds united by an appreciation for individuality, precision and craftsmanship.
The workshop also featured a photography competition, inviting participants to translate the evening’s themes into their own creative perspectives.
Beyond the photography sessions, the evening was defined by lively discussions, knowledge sharing and an open exchange of creative ideas. Participants had the opportunity to learn from one another, discover new photography techniques and explore the art of capturing heritage and automotive design through their own unique perspectives. Giveaways added a further element of excitement to an evening that was both engaging and inspiring.
